We'll guide you through the grant and loan application processes
The process is quick and easy, with short lead times between application and installation. Our technical team are available to answer any questions that you have, in the beginning and throughout the process.
We will complete a virtual consultation or site visit to understand your specific needs.
We are accredited with the Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme (EVHS) and all installations are completed by qualified engineers with extensive experience working in and around the home.
We pride ourselves on our punctuality and we always strive to leave as clean and efficient a job as possible.
We will make sure that you receive all the incentives you are eligible for and that the process is as easy as possible. We have close relationships with OLEV and EST and years of experience working in the industry.
This allows us to understand what incentives are available, receive updates on new schemes when they are released and determine exactly what you will be able to receive.
What else should I know?
All our products require a 32 Amp power distribution box. If you do not already have this in your home, we may have to install a new consumer box. Is your current box plastic? This means it is likely not 32 Amp and we will have to install a new one. Your existing one will not be removed; the new box will be in addition and will be solely for your new charger. Moreover, 22kW rapid charge is only available for pre supply boxes.
When it comes to charger connections, there are two options: type 1 and type 2. Type 1 connectors are commonly used in the US for home charging on AC supplies. Some older European and Asian models have type 1 connections, but these have been largely phased out. The EU now recommends Type 2 connectors across the board and it is likely that this will apply to your new car. Most European EV charge points will have an untethered or ‘universal’ socket. This means that, in most cases, your cable should have ‘universal’ on one end and Type 2 on the other. Visit our product comparison page to see a full breakdown of technical specs.
